Sources and corrections

Every price and rule on this site was read from a page the airport, its operator or its regulator publishes, and is printed with a link to that page and the day we read it.

What counts as a source

Five kinds of page, and nothing else.

Airport page
A page on the website of the airport or the company that operates it.
Airport PDF
A tariff sheet, terms of use or site rules the airport or operator publishes as a document.
Regulator's ordinance
An order from the authority that governs the airport's roads, such as the Italian civil aviation authority's ordinance for Malpensa.
Regulator's page
A page on that authority's own website.
Platform's own page
A ride-hail company's page for that airport, used only for where its cars pick up.

A comparison site, a parking blog, a forum, a news story or a search result snippet is never a source. If a figure appears only there, it is not in the record.

When a page says not published

"Not published" means we looked on the airport's and operator's own pages and the figure is not there. It does not mean free, and it does not mean allowed. We leave the gap open instead of filling it from somewhere else.

Sometimes the operator does publish a price and we could not read it. Malpensa is the case today: the operator's website answers with a bot check instead of the page, so the car park prices are missing here although they are printed at each entrance. The airport page says so in words.

The date beside every figure

"As of" is the day we last read the source page, not the day the airport set the price. A figure that has gone 12 months without being read again is flagged "not re-read since" with that date, so an old reading never passes for a fresh one.

Some airports change prices at a known time of year, and we re-read them then.

Corrections

Seen a price that has changed, or a rule we have wrong? Write to corrections@terminalrules.com with the airport and, if you can, a link to the airport's or operator's own page. We re-read it, fix the record and list the change in Notices.

Rights in the data

Each row is read from the airport's or operator's own pages, never from another compilation. The facts on these pages are the airports'. The work of obtaining and checking them is Green Wire Media's, and we claim the EU database right (Directive 96/9/EC) in it.

You may quote any single fact or price with a link to the page it came from. Copying all of the dataset, or a substantial part, into another site or database needs our agreement first. A release under a Creative Commons Attribution licence comes with the June 2027 data file.
